BIO

Born in Racine, Wisconsin, in 1972, I studied art and graphic design at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. In 1995 I cofounded Adjacency, a design firm where I designed and art-directed web presences for brands including Adobe, Apple, Land Rover, Tag Heuer, Patagonia, Specialized and Virgin. I co-authored a book on web design, and had my work recognized by the Clio Awards, the One Club and Graphis. A journey through Brasil in 2006 sparked my full-time pursuit of photography. My work has won awards, been exhibited internationally, and is part of private collections and the permanent collections of the Museu Oscar Niemeyer in Brasil and the Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno in Spain.
